Stearman Views

Took a flight in a open cockpit Boeing Stearman PT-17 along the Florida coast. This airplane was a Primary Trainer (PT) for military instruction in the 30's & 40's. Stall speed is very low in this aircraft... it takes off very quickly and lands at ~70 mph w/ the tail wheel up for better pilot visibility. The student pilot sits in the front cockpit w/ duplicate full controls as the rear seat where the primary pilot sits. Way Cool!!
